Hi Everyone- Need help with Windows 8-Corrupt file "Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB". Thanks :)

For the Past several weeks my computer has been stuttering; there's a pause when I'm running anything (like playing music, watching videos, using programs etc). It looks like its constantly refreshing and there's a lot of clipping or stuttering. Some additional Info: My computer was sent for repair to HP, who installed a new motherboard and CPU.
SO this is what I have done so far, but now I'm stuck. I would truly appreciate some help. Thank you very much.

-So I ran the command prompt sfc/scannow.
-Then I got the following message : Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.
-Then I ran a second command prompt: findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"
-Then I checked the log and it has this entries on it:

Re: Hi Everyone- Need help with Windows 8-Corrupt file "Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB". Thanks

I followed the instructions on your guide and after running the sfc/scannow on the command propt, I received no more corrupted file messages. HOWEVER. My computer is still stuttering. When I turn on anything, let's say a music program, I still hear the clipping and stuttering. Same thing happens when I run anything else. Also my computer looks like it's always refreshing or something, because I notice when it stutters it does the same thing as when you right-click and select "refresh" Can you guys help me out here. THank you very much.

Hi,

The stuttering appears to be something called a DPC Latency Issue.

For a quick check, download run this program. Resplendence Software - LatencyMon: suitability checker for real-time audio and other tasks. Let it run for a while, then screenshot the Main, Stats and Drivers tabs.

I would recommend starting a new thread in the Windows 8 forum - Windows 8 | Windows RT - Sysnative Forums, with a DPC latency related title.

Kind regards,
Stephen
