This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state. BugCheck 9F, {3, ffffe0016ac99060, fffff8006ae13a70, ffffe0016dc2e510} If we run an !irp on the 4th parameter of the bug check (blocked IRP address): Code: >[ 16, 2] 0 e1 ffffe0016ac99060 00000000 fffff80109ef7440-ffffe00169efaa40 Success Error Cancel pending Unable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\ataport.SYS, Win32 error 0n2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for ataport.SYS *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for ataport.SYS \Driver\atapi CLASSPNP!ClasspPowerUpCompletion ataport.sys is the ATAPI Driver Extension, however it is not the true cause of the crashes. With this said, we're dealing with a 3rd party driver causing file system conflicts. ESET is likely causing file system conflicts, so please remove and replace it with Windows Defender for temporary troubleshooting purposes: ESET removal - How do I uninstall or reinstall ESET Smart Security/ESET NOD32 Antivirus? - ESET Knowledgebase Windows Defender (how to turn on after removal) - Windows Defender - Turn On or Off in Windows 8 Regards, Patrick
