Hello all. I'm LiterallyAnything and I'm new to the forums. To be entirely honest- I joined this forum because I have a boot issue currently that has me frustrated so much I decided to finally ask for help, which is something I haven't done since I was an active member on the "PC Pitstop" forums like... 15 years ago or something while I was still in middle and high school.I have an AA in programming (which means I know how to make sense of script, essentially) but I'm a sys admin by trade I would say, primarily dealing with Windows Server with some Linux thrown in as well. I've held jobs as a help desk supervisor, NOC technician, bridge (telephony) system operations manager, a ServiceNow administrator / CAB facilitator, and your vanilla corporate "systems admin". I don't have any CompTIA certs but I do have an MSCA in Windows Server 2012 (plan on updating when I can) and an ITIL Foundations cert.My specialty is in disaster recovery and back-end administration. I also like to think of myself a "solutions architect" of sorts and love to create custom applications to solve issues that don't have easy solutions unless you're able to purchase a 10k year license (SAP I'm looking at you).I started down this career path because I loved troubleshooting PC issues, but I've never been in a position where I've ever been required to identify or solve system-specific issues, or at least not on any machine that wasn't a server, so I've fallen out of touch with Windows boot issues, just as one example. That's why I personally feel this forum is a goldmine of valuable information.I'm happy to have found a PC troubleshooting forum which takes itself seriously. I decided to sign up on this site because the help given is high quality and the instructions clear and concise.Anyway, glad I'm here, and I hope I can contribute in my own way and learn things along the way as well.
