Hello,

I'm very impressed how volunteers in this forum help people to fix their Windows Update and BSOD issues and I want to learn it, too.

I'm an SCCM Admin and dealing with update errors everyday but can't fix them.
Mostly we reinstall the clients, thats faster, but I like to dig into problems and analyze them to find the root cause ;-)

Bye

Welcome to Sysnative! Take a look here if you're interested in the Sysnative Update Academy.
Yea I already read the first tutorial but I can't fix the errors I actually have because one client has over 190 corruptions but all without kb articles.
It seems that dism /online ... tries to fix them from WU but in the end it says that the sources are missing.
An other client got 10 corruptions fixed and is now clean, but the cumulative update from january won't install.
On an other client sfc /scannow and dism /online... cancel the scans.

The problem is that I mostly have to work in the background with psexec or entering an remote powershell session but sfcfix seems that it doesn't support such methods.

I tried my luck if it was written in c# to decompile it but it is written in c or visual c ...

You don't technically need SFCFix to repair the corruptions, it's just a tool which makes taking permissions and replacing missing or corrupted files less tedious.

I would suggest opening a thread in the Windows Update forum if you haven't done so.

p.s. Welcome to Sysnative

I'm sorry, I misunderstood you. I agree with x BlueRobot in starting a post in the Update section. :-) Welcome again!

I think I will apply for the Windows Update Academy, we don't have that much Bluescreens in our environment.
So I can train my self with our windows update problems ;-)

By the way, it seems that the upgrade to 20H2 fixed the issues on two.
The third one is just doing its upgrade.

A belated welcome to Sysnative. I've already seen you are busy learning in the Update Academy. Hope you're enjoying it.
