Hello to everyone,
I had the problem of a hanging black screen for one and a half minutes during start up on my Samsung R71O running windows 7 ultimate, this was really unusual as since fitting the Samsung 480gb SSD start up's had been super fast!
After consulting many internet forums and watching various Youtube demonstrations of solutions to the black screen I began thinking that it may be a hardware fault, or just something I would have to put up with.
Then in an article on SFCFIX I came across mention of this forum and so posted my problem.
Within a couple of days I received a very polite reply from a moderator/contributor asking if I would mind being patient whilst they found a colleague who could help with my problem.
Sure enough after a few days I was put in touch with Peter who took me through all the stages of what turned out to be quite a challenge, but all credit to him through his IT expertise,his dedication and his patience with my limited knowledge of IT solved the problem of the black screen and a few others besides!
So I now have a Samsung R710 that is once again super fast!
