Hello I have a sound pops and clipping. I really need help fixing this problem

Guys I am having some serious DPC latency issues, tons of sound crackling and popping. I really need help fixing this.

There seems to be a lot of people suffering similar problems, but so far I haven't seen any published solution. I am getting horrible latency issues, making my machine nigh on unusable (other than a simple word processor and very light surfing like this post). A thread in Malware has confirmed I have no maleware issue, I am currently 'stuck' in 'BSOD' as I have an infrequent issue, but LatencyMon definitely shows an issue (even if it wasn't blatantly obvious to me that there is an issue). [Sorry turned int a rant - but am very frustrated and feeling a bit helpless]
