Hello,

I hope someone is kind enough to help me with my misery. Ever since I built my new Ryzen 2600X 3 weeks ago all I ever encounter is this sudden freeze in Windows. Mouse is not working. All I could do is hard power off of the machine (pressing power button for 5 secs).

Believe me I tried everything I could find on the web. SFC/dism/chkdsk..etc. Did a clean install of windows several times as well but after several days this stupid freezing is there again.

I have attached the dump files. Please HELP!

Hi. . .

The bugchecks on all dumps = 0x116 - TDR Timeout. The video driver attempted to reset itself but could not do so in the 30 seconds of time allotted.

The 5 dumps list your video drivers as the probable cause -
Code:
atikmdag.sys Wed Jul 24 15:34:03 2019 (5D38DCDB)
atikmpag.sys Wed Jul 24 15:13:58 2019 (5D38D826)
Driver Reference Table (DRT) | atikmdag.sys
Driver Reference Table (DRT) | atikmpag.sys

I know they are only 4 days old, but see if there is an update for them.

The other possibility here is that your video card is bad.

If you have another video card, swap it out and test.

You may also want to run FurMark diagnostics - FurMark Display Card Stress Test

Even though new, your RAM needs to be tested.

Run memtest86+ one stick at a time and alternate the slots - Test RAM with memtest.org MemTest86+
