My computer is an older Acer, now I believe I bootlegged and/or Upgraded to Windows 10..

Worked great for long time.

Now it stuck and from research called looping which I've seen thousands of complaints

I've tried everything from safe Mode, all the advanced options etc

Here are a few pictures to show what the command prompts say...

All help is appreciated, I am Youtubed out and googled out..

Sfc/scannow should be last picture.View attachment 56763View attachment 5676420200130_150303.jpg20200130_150321.jpg20200130_150331.jpg20200130_150331.jpg20200130_150303.jpg20200130_150321.jpg20200130_150331.jpg

Please open Settings, Update & Security, Activation Pane, and report back regarding what is shown in the top section, Windows, as far as both Edition and Activation status.

Please also hit the Windows Key, immediately type winver, then hit enter. Report the Windows 10 Version and Build numbers returned in the pop-up dialog.

I'm not able to open anything up, it is stuck and shows blue screen which is why I attached Pictures of the Scan via command prompts where I have tried everything on internet

Someone else is going to have to advise if you're looking to try to preserve anything on the machine.

If you need to do that, I'd advise popping out the HDD/SSD and connecting it as an external drive to another fully functioning system to copy the user data off before proceeding.

Then, see:
Doing a completely clean reinstall (options a & b are downloadable PDF files):

a) Completely Clean Win10 (Re)install Using MCT to Download Win10 ISO File

b) Completely Clean Win10 (Re)install Using MCT to Create a Bootable USB Drive

c) How to do a CLEAN Installation of Windows 10 (Tom’s Hardware Forums, with screen shots)

If the machine is running an illegal copy of Windows 10 you will find that it is not activated when you do a clean reinstall, but it wouldn't be activated anyway now. We cannot give any advice if we know for a fact that a cracked copy of any software is in use. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that it's not, since the free upgrade has been available from Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 to Windows 10.

It was a Free Upgrade couple years ago from a Windows 8...

I've tried everything in the Advanced options via Troubleshoot in Safe Mode.

I get various errors and one error was cant access Windows, or not enough room to complete, or system 32 something error and more...

Another error via advanced troubleshoot via command is when I try to do sfc/scanner it is saying Windows Resource Protection could not perform operation.

Another error that has popped up is everything I do to fix the looping issue with windows 10 says we cant repair and gives me Log file E:\windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt

Now it is saying Your PC/Device needs to be repaired. The operating system couldn't be loaded b/c of Critical system driver is missing or contains errors.

File :\Windows\system32\Drivers\compbatt.sys
Error code Ox000000f

When you see the X:\Windows\system, this means you are in the recovery environment. If you can get back to that X:\Windows prompt in the last screenshot, type sfc /scannow /offbootdir=C:\ /offwindir=C:\Windows and hit enter.

If it can't repair then run DISM /image:C:\ /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Then again run sfc /scannow /offbootdir=C:\ /offwindir=C:\Windows

You can also run CHKDSK /f C:

Thanks for your reply. Here are few Pictures showing few things plus your 1st command I just entered.

The run DISM /image:C:\ /cleanup-image /restorehealth
saying Error 1639
the command line is missing a required servicing command

I'm having trouble deciphering those pictures. There are multiple pictures of the chkdsk and I'm not seeing the error you typed.

run this: bcdedit |find "osdevice"

if it returns

X:\WINDOWS\system32> bcdedit |find "osdevice"
osdevice partition=D:

Change those C's to D's.

DISM /image:d:\ /cleanup-image /restorehealth

sfc /scannow /offbootdir=D:\ /offwindir=D:\Windows

More info: Windows 10 Composite Battery Driver Missing

I'm not able to get to start menu or anything so I am in Recovery mode b/c it has just been attempting to repair/spin for days.

Here is Pictures of my Windows version which when I go to advanced options in troubleshoot it says Window 10 needs critical update and will not restore to previous versions b/c those are Old & I can not find any CDs to reinstall or anything but I am in the recovery mode & command prompt section

I typed bcdedit |find "osdevice" AND all it came back was the following.....
x: \windows\system32>bcdedit |find "osdevice" is partition=E

Now type in DISM /image:E:\ /cleanup-image /restorehealth Hit enter let it run

then sfc /scannow /offbootdir=E:\ /offwindir=E:\Windows Hit enter let it run

Very Glad you all just state a few things then Disappear without Helping.

Ridiculous and You ask for Donations.

Solve the Issue 1st...

Unbelievable

If you want paid support, then pay for it. Otherwise volunteers will respond when time is available.

I stand by my original advice that your most likely only way out of this is going to be a clean reinstall, so I have nothing to add. But you need a big attitude adjustment.
