Good night, morning, afternoon, evening everybody,

I'm Martijn, a 18 year old student in Programming. I have just finished my internship of a half year where I build a lot of experience.
But, in my internship I had a few bluescreens, 1 due to bad configuration with a new headset (audio configuration), 1 due to a problem with driver verifier and 1 due to a problem with not properly removing an AV program. Via this way I met the eightforums.com and sysnative.com communities.

Since the solution with the bad audio configuration I wanted too to help fixing bluescreens as I was impressed at what the cause was. I had tried to understand what bluescreen viewer showed, but I didn't understand anything from it, still don't understand a lot of it. But since I came in touch with the windb I only get motivation to try to get better, even though there are a lot of things I need to understand and I'm still a newby with it (after a few months). But when I see how some experts tackle the bluescreen I can't handle, because I don't know what to do, I say to myself 'I want to be capable of doing that too' and keep trying.

Further about me.
Since 2,5 years I came in touch with programming, I wanted to start with it earlier because I wanted to create something for others and improve myself with skills but I didn't know what program I needed.
Since I came on the school where I study now I started with learning to program in different languages:
HTML,
CSS (if I'm correct every version),
PHP
JavaScript
C#
And some other languages which are more for programming a drone or something.

In my free time (right now having vacation :grin1:) I'm working on my own site. I'm writing a guestbook with a login system without CMS ofcourse.
Unfortunately I didn't get the programming language JavaScript until a half year before the internship started, but JavaScript was the language I liked the most because of everything that you can do with it that you can't do with PHP. I started to follow a tutorial in codecademy, I saw how easy it was so I stopped with codecademy after I was on 25% of it and started to learn jQuery.
So with JQuery and JavaScript I'm improving my site with some interactions just to make it look better with effect :grin1:
Don't forget, my site isn't (yet) online. I'm working with xampp, wamp is a little bit slow sometimes.

This was a very very very small part of me. if any questions, don't hesitate to ask :smile9:.

Best regards,
Martijn

Almost forgot to mention that I also learn mysql with databases, comes handy when building a site.

Hi Martijn,

Welcome to Sysnative Forums!

This is the place to be for BSODs. Even more so over the other forum you mentioned. :)

That's quite resume!

Just curious -- what problem did you gave with Driver Verifier?

It of course checks drivers and forces a BSOD when a violation is found.

Regards. . .

I am aware of the function of Driver Verifier now, but when I used it I didn't know the function completely.
I had a problem with the drivers from my new headset. After the bluescreen due to the audio configuration I did some research about this problem because I didn't knew yet what was really causing this problem, even though softwaremaniac said the drivers were causing the bluescreen. I had installed the newest drivers from the site of the manual and it was guaranteed that the drivers and the software are fully compatible with windows 8.1. After contacting the company they said to check the audio configuration and make sure only the headset was enabled, I didn't know that my headset came there. So for a better research I wanted to know which drivers my headset uses and by searching for it I found something really odd, unfortunately because I'm talking about a few months in the past I don't remember good what it was.

I did some research about what I found and read that a solution was to use driver verifier, unfortunately after the BSOD I could only reinstall windows because everything I tried didn't work. This problem looked like my first 10 bluescreens.

Well, if the BSODs were in fact caused by the drivers, you should have seen the driver name on the blue screen &/or they would have certainly been named in a VERIFIER_ENABLED BSOD dump file.

If I knew at that time what I know now I would have understand it, but it was for me some chinese.
A few weeks after that I started to learn BSOD's.

A warm welcome to Sysnative :)

But when I see how some experts tackle the bluescreen I can't handle, because I don't know what to do, I say to myself 'I want to be capable of doing that too' and keep trying.
That's the best attitude to have!

All our staff here are very friendly and we encourage you to ask questions and try to learn as much as you can. Get stuck in, we don't bite!

We have a lot of information on BSODs here: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bsod-kernel-dump-analysis-debugging-information/. There's a big thread here: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...bugging-information/284-bsod-method-tips.html with lots of links and guides. An index of most (all?) of our BSOD tutorials and guides can be found here: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...nformation/9242-debugging-tutorial-index.html

And some other languages which are more for programming a drone or something.
Ooh, nice! Currently looking into a 250 Mini quad build myself. No idea whether I'll build it, but drones are pretty cool :p
