Nice to meet you all!!

I think I am going to enjoy it here!!!

I have just run the SFC thing, I think it may have helped, I am running Sfc /scannow at the moment to see if thing have improved.

I had the misfortune to upgrade to win 10 :LOL:


more about that later.


but any how it seems there are some knowledgeable people here so that is good! :thumbsup2:

I used to work with computers untill my career went downhill :lolg:

I will likely say more later.


Basically I have the MSDTC log corrupt thing and I've awaiting my sfc result, I probably will not be so happy it fails to fix it!!! :LOL:

Oh I'm enjoying it.

I am actually getting solutions here which is more than I ever get from Microsoft.

However I am not sure if the SFC error is the big issues for me, my big issue is fast boot failure and eventually slow boot failure and needing to reinstall win 10 at least once every 3 months!!

Maybe I can resolve that, but as it is intermittent, ie cannot be reproduced at will it will be hard to say if it is ever fixed.


However maybe I can get a better solution ie something better than reinstalling windows. (which means reinstall all my programs as Microsoft in it's wisdom decides to delete as it does not like competition.
