Hello,

so my GPU (Nvidia GeForxe GTX 1060) started crashing after one week of not using my PC at all. [So I didnt changed or installed anything noticeable to my System in this time and before].
It crashes just in a specific game & launcher so far -Blizzard Launcher- and -World of Warcraft-. Black & White pixels in screen and freeze for maybe 2 seconds after playing for like 30-45 minutes, then everything goes to normal or a complete PC shutdown.
After freeze, I notice the message:
'Nvidia Kernel Mode Driver has stopped responding and has recovered'
Before it was 'Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered'. But then I deleted my old Nvidia drivers via 'DriverDisplayUninstaller' and searched for old nvlddmkm.sys files, that wont be deleted. I deleted them all and installed the latest Nvidia driver for my card.
Other games on Steam seems fine so far, surfing with Mozilla Firefox also no problem.

I´ve updated every known driver on my Mainboard via manufacturer site (Only BIOS is missing). I checked my RAM via 'mdsched.exe'. I checked my HardDrive C: via 'chkdsk /f' - nothing noticeable. Sfc /scannow found corrupt files but cannot repair.

-Got 2 latest C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports\WATCHDOG .dmp files, after the complete shutdown. I will attach screenshots from BlueScreenViewer.
-CBS File - Download CBS.zip from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way

Thanks for any help!

I have managed to extract the 6 missing nVIDIA files from my Windows 7 DVD, located in C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_nv_lh.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_4a5c7d78e486512b.
sfc /scannow runs fine now.

But I´ve noticed the missing 'nvlddmkm.sys'filefor exampleis from 2009.
The 'nvlddmkm.sys' file of my current Graphic Card Driver located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers for example, is from 2018 and has much newer Version number. Do I have to replace it???
Should I ever replace nVIDIA things in C:\Windows\winsxs\ with newer stuff to fix the 'nvlddmkm stopped responding...' problem?

Hey thanks for your reply!
So I wont replace anything in there with current drivers.

Had no BSOD for 3 days in normal activities, like browsing or even playing games with Steam and opened Blizzard Launcher in background. Took me some time to update every last driver and re-install things.
Will test playing World of Warcraft this week.
Only have this GPU, so its hard to test for me.

I was hoping for a software/driver issue, if another BSOD occurs while playing World of Warcraft and everything else runs fine, I´m helpless ...
