Google, Twitter, Facebook and Microsoft are fierce competitors but – at least for a day – the companies are working together to celebrate Safer Internet Day (SID). Competing security firms Symantec and Trend Micro are also sponsoring the U.S. Safer Internet Day event in Washington, DC along with Linked-In and Sprint.
