Gizmodo sees Twitter account hacked

former Gizmodo employee had his Twitter account breached, and the hackers then used it to crack the gadget site's Twitter account and send out racist tweets yesterday. Talk about a bad day.

What a mess. Social engineering used on AppleCare geniuses and they had enough info about Mat to actually get them to think they were Mat and got them to issue a temporary password to his iCloud account. And the rest is history....big mess. Mostly fixed but this should not be able to happen.
