Ive been at all this since windows 3.1. On this one i have paid techs, done the forums --zip! WINDOWS says it stopped install, and will get back to me if a solution is found -NOT!
I did also a few times get a C++ error so downloaded that, but no help.
BTW this is a new mobo, and SSD. everything else is great! but after hundreds of tries, same issue persists.
I ran sfc /scannow, and the sfcfix, then dism repair which did fix one file which was corrupted...but still cant install office.
I know its compat, others have done this, (despite one MS tech telling me its NOT compat!) only 6 yrs old c'mon worked on 8 -_(^&#$%^
Is anyone up to this???
I gave up after like 2 months of trying every which way.
I just also want to say this site seems like a really good spot to be. and thanks either way for trying so well, for so many
dis me here, dat u dere?:grin1:
Whoops....latest is a error I have from a fresh download of office 2007 if it helps...
