LOW-LEVEL Hard Disk Drive (HDD) FORMAT

Download KillDisk Freeware zip file; extract ISO - http://www.killdisk.com/downloadfree.htm

(select - Download DOS boot disk ISO image - http://software.lsoft.net/boot-cd-iso.zip)

Use ImgBurn to burn KillDisk ISO to CD (select "Mirror 7 - Provided by Imgburn") - http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

ImgBurn - My recommendation is to use either CD-R CDs or DVD-R DVDs for the burning of the Killdisk ISO onto the CD or DVD.

Select "write image file to disk" - as shown in the screenshot below -

KillDisk - Boot system with the KillDisk CD. You may have to change the BIOS "firing order" (select the option so that the DVD/CD device boots before the hard drive); Select "Active KillDisk Free" -

Select partition to format; repeat for all partitions -
