Only happened once. I had to go out yesterday so I didn't get a chance to look into it further. I would say my system has been on for a few hours since it happened and I have not had another issue with it, but I would still like to find the cause.

  • A brief description of your problem (but you can also include the steps you tried) I had a BSOD yesterday when I opened the riot client. Don't know if it is related or just poor timing. Updated graphics driver and did a malware scan.

Hmm, could you please zip up the following file and then share it via a file sharing site such as Google Drive or OneDrive?

Rich (BB code):
%systemroot%\MEMORY.DMP

I suspect that the issue may be with either the mouse or keyboard driver.

Upon restarting I received a BSOD with the error code: DRIVER_VERIFIER_VIOLATION_DETECTED

I’m no longer able to boot my PC without getting a blue screen, and I haven’t been able to get it into safe mode.

If it does not open to safe mode:

a) find a working computer

b) find a flash drive that you can format (> or = 8 GB)

c) create a bootable windows 10 iso 21H2:
Download Windows 10

d) Insert the windows 10 iso flash drive into the applicable USB port

e) Boot the computer to the flash drive

f) Open the troubleshooting menu on the flash drive

g) Type:
verifier /reset

h) If the prior command does not turn off the WDV tool then type:
verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail

i) If the prior command does not turn off the WDV tool then click system restore

j) If none of the prior three commands work then comment into this thread
