Yesterday, the Status in Windows Updates displayed Installing-20% and today it's There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x800f0900). Other Windows Updates (Security Intelligence and Microsoft Defender) are updating successfully. I have followed Steps 1 and 2 (Run SFC scan and Run DISM) from the Windows 10 Update Forum Posting Instructions with the following results:

I also ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth and DISM / Online / Cleanup-Image / ScanHealth with following results.

The operation completed successfully.

Update: I had set Windows Update on "pause" for a few days but once that time period was over, my PC started to experience concerning behavior. Yesterday, while playing online Wordle, there was a sudden interruption to a BSOD. Today, after turning on my PC, the Welcome screen took over 15 minutes to complete and there was another browser interruption. I also notice that the Update History in Windows Settings is missing all the feature updates since 21H1 dated 9/30/2021. After my previous post of 6/2, I'm not sure what to do next.

Update: I thought I would follow the same two steps from the last time I had a Windows 10 Update issue. Per my content post from April 15, I downloaded the SFCFix and SFCZip files and did the drag function on the desktop (Step 1). Then I ran the DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth (Step 2). For almost two hours, I just have a blinking cursor and not the usual % progress. I think I must have done something wrong and I've attached the SFCFix.txt file if it helps. I would really appreciate some much needed assistance. Many thanks.

Hi,

You've been experiencing many issues with this system for a long time, could you please provide the following files to look at.

ZIP all the *.dmp files from C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\*.* and attach the ZIP file to your next post.

I'm working through the BSOD Posting Instructions as you suggested and I will post a new topic in the BSOD forum. At some point, will I return here to resolve the Windows Update issue?
