[SOLVED] Failed Windows Updates- Corrupted Component Store- Server 2019

Hello and thank you in advance for your assistance! I keep getting failures on the latest cumulative update for Server 2019. I examined the CBS logs and it references missing a payload corruption and missing source files. I am attaching the CBS Logs and the Component scanner.

Hi,

Step 1. Download

SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.

• Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
• Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
• Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

• SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
• Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
• Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.

DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Thank you so much for your help. I was actually able to resolve it today by finding the corrupted component in the CBS log and copying the missing files from a working computer. was going to update this thread today. I do, however have another computer that i am having problems with but am unable to figure out which components are corrupted. I am going to create a new thread and would appreciate if you could check in today or tomorrow.
