Hello,

I've been trying to upgrade my SOs Win10 Pro 1703 to the W10 1909 version using all methods, including the today downloaded MediaCreationTool.

It failed and rolled back with the following error: "0x8007001F - 0x20006 The installation was not successful. Error in Phase SAFE_OS during REPLICATE_OC."

I've spend the day on google and from their recommendations this is what I did: I deleted unnecessary software, there is no virus scanner on the system any more (besides MS Defender), I removed all old USB devices, I've run a disc clean up (using the windows tool) on C:\, I tried running the upgrade from USB,DVD and from the hard drive.

Nothing helped.

Now I came here because I saw you could help people out with this problem where others just gave up at some point and made a fresh install.

Please help me...you're my last hope.

Hi!

That's SFCFix. Please run SFC Scan and attach CBS.log:

SFC Scan

  1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow

Wait for this to finish before you continue

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

Sorry, I can't find System Update Readiness Tool in Windows 10, could you please give me some instructions?

Hello, yes I follow this instructions:

Windows 8/Windows 10/Server 2012 and newer
  1. Right-click on the Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin). Allow any User Account Control message box that may come up.
  2. When the command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  3. When it completes, you will either see "The operation completed successfully." or one of several different error messages.
And the result was "The operation completed successfully."

Okay, then please do the following:

Step#1 - FRST Scan

1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Right-click FRST64.exe and click Run as Administrator to run it as administrator. When the tool opens, click Yes to disclaimer.
3. Please ensure you place a check mark in the Addition.txt check box at the bottom of the form before running (if not already checked).
4. Press Scan button.
5. It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should now be the desktop)
6. Please attach the log back here.
7. Another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST64.exe) will be generated Please also attach that along with the FRST.txt in your reply.

Hi!

Please uninstall EPSON devices and detach them from the machine.
Uninstall TAP-Windows 9.9.2
Disable IIS

Do the following:

Step#1 - FRST Fix
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Download the attached fixlist.txt and save it to the Desktop.
Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.
