I have upgraded to Windows 10 and everything pretty much works fine.
The problem is that it takes a bit longer than usual to login, and every time I do, I get these events.

Any ideas why, because I'm stumped. I never had this issue on Windows 8.1.

Without knowing what the actual text of the errors are, there's no real way to guide you other than to say 10016 errors are permissions errors in COM for the user/machine combo that tried to initialize or touch a COM object, and failed. Gonna need the actual text of the errors to tell you how to resolve them, if they can be resolved.

As to the ACPI error, again, I'd need the actual data to figure it out, but those are usually embedded hardware controllers that fail to respond to power requests in a timely fashion. You wouldn't happen to be running a Lenovo, by chance?

When changing the registry key options at the end of step 2 I get permission denied.
This is when changing the System and Administrators to full control access.

Never mind, I put 'Administrator' rather than 'Administrators'.
Everything is done, I'll just wait and go from there.

What about the ACPI error? Would that be related?

Update: I missed your comment about adding Local Service and not System.
After rebooting it seems the DCOM errors are gone, thanks.

Any ideas about the ACPI error?
