Hello All,
I open this thread for a second time, because the first thread was closed with an answer that I simply don't understand:
"
You are using a crack.
Please remove it, then reboot and re-post your log.
"
Can you please explain what do you mean by this ?
Below is the text of my original thread.
***** Please don't close this thread before letting me answer ! ***************
Thanks a lot & Best Regards,

My original thread
---------------------
On my AMD machine with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit suddenly started to appear many pairs of Warning (EventID=136) + Error (EventID=137)
repeating almost every minute.
I read another thread https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-7-windows-vista/12678-help-error-event-viewer.html
by which the following was supposed to solve this problem:
fsutl resource setautoreset true c:\
I tried it but it DID NOT HELP in my case.
So, I followed the instructions on that same thread and got a file VEW.TXT containing the last 20 events,
which I attach to this post.
On the first occurrence of these errors the message was the following:
The default transaction resource manager on volume \Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy17 encountered an error while starting
and its metadata was reset. The data contains the error code.
The subsequent errors are similar, but for either \Device\HarddiskVolume2 or C:
I also do have another thread open for assistance with a Windows Update problem,
https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...receive-last-updates-kb4088881-kb4100480.html
so I don't know whether the two problems are related, but the EventViewer problem only started today, while the Windows Update problem is older.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help on this issue.
Best Regards,
Iudith Mentzel
