Hi there,
I have tried several times to upgrade to Win 10 however I always end up with Win 10 giving multiple BSOD's even though the upgrade does complete.
I have therefore researched checking out my Win 7.1 64bit installation
It does run without problems and I can successfully complete Windows7 updates without problems
I have discovered Errors in SFC and SUR tool showing CSI Missing

I would appreciate any help that the forum members could offer me and whether the errors could be the cause of the bad Windows 10 upgrade

Hi!

I can confirm that the errors can't cause this behavior in Windows 10. Your machine is likely incompatible. For more information, I would need to see the dump files after the BSODs.

Thanks so much for the suggestion, my understanding is that the SPTD driver is not present in a Win7 configuration. Is that correct, and only when I upgrade to Win 10?
One other piece of advice, I am using MediaCreation1903 tool and directly doing the upgrade without the creation of an ISO file or using the option of a USB drive, is that OK

I have not seen the configuration of your Win7, so I can't speak on that behalf, but I would assume, that it IS present. The problem is its incompatibility with Win10.

Yes. That's fine.

Success....now running without problems on Windows 10.
I slightly modified your suggestion after researching SPTD driver issues and via an MS page I was directed to the following
DuplexSecure - Downloads
I downloaded and installed the new SPTD Win7 driver and installed it, and then after un-installing my internet security I did a clean boot win7 and upgrade to Win10
All working 100% and I haven't even updated to the SPTD Win 10 driver as of yet.
I would like to thank you again for your assistance.
-Graham
