Hello,
I was wondering if you could help me out. This is for Win7 Ult SP1 x64. I've had some serious corruptions in my system. After a lot of work I got to the point where my system runs almost flawlessly, but I still have few issues. Looks like SFC only fails in few places, and I'll continue running it later but need this SUR problem fixed. I've completely removed everything related to AVG using Revo Uninstaller, then AVG Removed (twice), then AVG Clear (twice), and when I run SUR tool, I still get the following 16 errors:

Hello and welcome,

Step 1:
Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.

1. Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:
64-bit: Downloading Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

2. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
3. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
4. Press the Fix button.
5. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
6. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
7. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
8. Post the logfile Fixlog.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2:
Start the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again.
On completion, attach the logfile C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log in your next reply.

Thank you very much!
That fixed the SUR (files attached), but I'm still having problems with SFC. Seems there are still some errors, not a lot, but it keeps on failing. Unfortunately the CBS file from the last scan alone is 3MB, which exceeds max size of allowed attachments here. Would you still have any way to help me with this?

Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt.
When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.

Code:
copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"

This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop.
Upload the file cbs.txt on your desktop via a service such as Filedropper or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the download link.

Follow the instructions below please.

WARNING! The following fix is specific to the user's system in this thread only. No one else should follow these instructions, as it could damage your system.

  • Download
    myjIXnC.png
SFCFix and move the executable to your desktop.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it on your desktop.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply.

Just let SFCFix continue processing the fix.

I let it run for over an hour and it shows no progress whatsoever...
If SFCFix only displays the text as in message #7, press the spacebar. SFCFix should then continue and display the text "Processing ..."

Check Windows Update again and report the result.
If it fails, run sfc /scannow again.
Copy the log file CBS.log to your desktop, see message #4 and attach the file to your next reply.
