Hello,
I'm a french guy of 17. This forum looks at the better issue for my problem.
When I try to install vista security update (KB2503665) the installation failed with the code 800B0100.
So I tried to solve it with a "windows package..." but the installation is incompatible with my system.
I don't know what to do, help me please
Thanks to reading

Hello and welcome to Sysnative!

It seems that the SURT has done the heavy lifting for us:

Code:
Summary:
Seconds executed: 4442
 Found 894 errors
 Fixed 894 errors
CSI Store Directory Missing Total count: 894
Fixed: CSI Store Directory Missing. Total count: 894

Can you please re-run the SURT for me again. If you no longer have a copy of SURT, please download it again from here: What is the System Update Readiness Tool? - Windows Help. Once SURT has completed installing, please zip up and attach the following log to your next post:

C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log

Thanks to read my request. I'm not sure that I've really understood what I have to do but I tried and I send what I think that I had to do.

That's perfect :) SURT shows no errors now, how is Windows Update?

If it's still not working, let's do a SFC scan:

SFC Scan

  1. Click on the Start
    Start%20Orb.jpg
button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow

Wait for this to finish before you continue

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt
  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

Looking good, how's Windows Update performing?

Stephen

The installation crashes again, but, the installation crashes when it trying to create a restore point. And when I try to create a restore point manually it is impossible for me, a new error code appears (0x8004230f). That may be the problem, right?
