Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V virtual machine running on a Server 2012 R2 device. Ran multiple updates successfully. KB4512488 (2019-08 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows Server 2012 R2 for x64-based Systems) would not install. After checking multiple locations, I reset the WU components and rebooted. Still would not update. I hid KB4512488 and searched for and found KB4507448, which is the 2019-07 Security update. It would not install, so I hid it and found the 2019-06 version. Same story. I hid that one and searched again. No updates were found. I noticed in the CBS log that it was looking for KB4499151, which is the May security update. That would not install, either. "That update is already installed on computer." I have tried all these updates multiple times with the same error. Ran sfc /scannow: C:\Windows\system32>sfc /scannow Beginning system scan. This process will take some time. Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. Click to expand...
