[SOLVED] Error 800700A1 when installing KB3000850

Hi!
As the title says, I can`t install kb3000850 in my windows 8.1. I have run sfc /scannow and sfcfix.exe, but that didn`t fix my problem. (The post I read it from said not to go any further...)
Please see attachments and lead me on :confused2:

Gather Info
1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
2. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
3. Double click on SFCFix.exe to open it.
4. Follow all on screen instructions and upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop named SFCFix.txt.
5. Please post the contents of this log in your next post. Thank you.

This fix is very specific for Ingjerd's computer. Trying this fix on your own computer might damage your computer. If you are after assistance, create a new thread, and you will be assisted shortly.

Download SFCFix (by niemiro) and move the executable on your Desktop. If you have kept SFCFix from previous fixes, use that instead.
Download the attached View attachment SFCFixScript.txt and move the archive to your Desktop
Note: Make sure that the file is named SFCFixScript.txt, do not rename it.
Save any work you have open, and close every programs
Drag the SFCFixScript.txt file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it

Once done, a file will appear on your Desktop, called SFCFix.txt
Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply

Now we will run a SFC scan

SFC Scan
1. Right-click on the Start

button and select Command Prompt (Admin)
2. When command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter

3. Once it finishes, copy and paste the following into the command-prompt window and press Enter.

copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
4. Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt => Right-click on this file and choose Send To...Compressed (zipped folder). Please upload this zipped file CBS.zip to this thread

We will be running the third set of fixes followed by another SFC scan

This fix is very specific for Ingjerd's computer. Trying this fix on your own computer might damage your computer. If you are after assistance, create a new thread, and you will be assisted shortly.

Download SFCFix (by niemiro) and move the executable on your Desktop. If you have kept SFCFix from previous fixes, use that instead.
Download the attached View attachment SFCFixScript.txt and move the archive to your Desktop
Note: Make sure that the file is named SFCFixScript.txt, do not rename it.
Save any work you have open, and close every programs
Drag the SFCFixScript.txt file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it

Once done, a file will appear on your Desktop, called SFCFix.txt
Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply

1. Right-click on the Start

2. When command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter

This fix is very specific for Ingjerd's computer. Trying this fix on your own computer might damage your computer. If you are after assistance, create a new thread, and you will be assisted shortly.

Download SFCFix (by niemiro) and move the executable on your Desktop. If you have kept SFCFix from previous fixes, use that instead.
Download the attached View attachment SFCFixScript.txt and move the archive to your Desktop
Note: Make sure that the file is named SFCFixScript.txt, do not rename it.
Save any work you have open, and close every programs
Drag the SFCFixScript.txt file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it

Once done, a file will appear on your Desktop, called SFCFix.txt
Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply

After running the fix, we will run SFC again:

We are getting much closer to fixing the update issues

[COLOR=9000]SFCFix Fix[/COLOR]
This fix is very specific for Ingjerd's computer. Trying this fix on your own computer might damage your computer. If you are after assistance, create a new thread, and you will be assisted shortly.

Download SFCFix (by niemiro) and move the executable on your Desktop. If you have kept SFCFix from previous fixes, use that instead.
Download the attached View attachment SFCFixScript.txt and move the archive to your Desktop
Note: Make sure that the file is named SFCFixScript.txt, do not rename it.
Save any work you have open, and close every programs
Drag the SFCFixScript.txt file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it

SFCFix will launch, let it complete
Once done, a file will appear on your Desktop, called SFCFix.txt
Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply

After the fix, we will run SFC scan

1. Right-click on the Start

2. When command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter

We don't need to have the windows update issues fixed to upgrade to Windows 10, because upgrading will solve these issues.

The free offer will ends on 29 July. If you want to upgrade your computer right now, you can do so using MediaCreationTool.

1. Download and run the Media Creation Tool. Note: On the page, please scroll down to select "Download tool now"
2. Accept the License Agreement and then select to Upgrade your PC.
3. Let it run through and your machine should be upgraded and the Windows Update issue resolved.

Although the chances are very slim for a problem to occur during the upgrade, it's always prudent to ensure you have a backup of all your critical files before doing so.
