Hi guys,

I get error 80070002 each time I try to install KB .
I managed to fix the Failed to find [...] MsSpellCheckingFacility.exe ... by copying the same file from an up to date machine with the same OS version.

But now I have " Failed to find file: amd64_microsoft-windows-i..etexplorer-optional_31bf3856ad364e35_11.2.9600.19180_none_7b349cd9c2b5681e\iexplore.exe [HRESULT = 0x80070002 - ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND]", I tried to fix this problem using the following article without success: [SOLVED] - Machine 4: KB4499164 failed with 80070002 on WS 2008R2 Standard SP1 x64

I'm not sure how to find the KB which contains the file with build version 9600.19180

Hello and welcome,

I'm not sure how to find the KB which contains the file with build version 9600.19180
It is part of KB4467107.
Does that help or do you need more assistance ?

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the reply.
Yes I managed to solve my problem installing this KB.

How did you get this information ? I am often confronted with this and I don't know where to get this information.

Great.

You can use the internet or a similar machine which might have the same file/folder installed.
I have a collection of components hives which I also use to trace a source.

As this issue is solved I will mark this thread as solved.

Take care.
