Hi,

could you please lunch RegEdit (press WIN+R, type RegEdit, press enter) and navigate to the following registry key:

Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

Once you there, please look for LoadAppInit_DLL value on the right. What data it has? Could you try setting it to zero?

In addition, please try the tutorial again, I have corrected a mistake.

Thanks for the responses.

The value of LoadAppInit_DLL was allready 0.

I re-did the Tekno Venus tutorial and had no error after a SFC scan. Thanks

I did have the newest version of Inventor installed.

Inventor still did not work, I uninstalled it and will now re-download and install it.

Apparently, I did not have the new Autodesk Inventor, service pack (SP1). I installed SP1 and now Inventor works. Thanks!
I had incorrectly assumed the downloader/ installer from the Autodesk web site would have come with Service pack 1

The Service Pack 1 can be downloaded here: Autodesk - Autodesk Inventor Services & Support - Autodesk Inventor 2014 Service Pack 1
