I am not able to install any updates either through Windows Update nor manually.

I have run SFC and Windows Readiness Tool but nothing worked out correctly. I even renamed the Software Distribution Folder in hope that the corrupted files gets replaced but it didn't worked either. Still can't find the problem and hoped for help here.

I am using Windows 7 Home Edition SP1

There was a similiar thread already with the exact same error message but I couldnt use his files to correct mine because I have different files that are corrupted. So I went to the CheckSur Persist.log and this is what they show me.

Seems like the Client itself is somehow not working. I am not the biggest IT pro so I hope you can help me out find the solution to this problem.

Greetings from Germany

Thanks, Ruslando

Hi Aura,
thanks for the fast reply! Well, I actually fixed the problem myself before you replied. I checked the CheckSUR file and it said that every problem got resolved and I could finally use Windows Update again. The only problem is that these Windows Updates do let my PC not boot correctly and I had to restore it to a previous date... . Well still thank you for your help and sorry for the late response.

No problem Ruslando, as long as your issue has been solved, I'm happy for you :)
