Error 0x80070490 during SP1 install on 2008R2

I inherited an Exchange 2010 server running on 2008 R2. I'm trying to bring it up to date, while installing SP1 everything appears to go fine. Upon rebooting to finish the install it goes in to "reverting changes" and fails to install. Upon logon I get "Error not found 0x80070490" i see no errors in the event viewer. When I run sfc /scan now
