Hello, I have a strange problem with Windows 2016 updates.
Cumulative updates failed to install with error 0x80070476 too many links. I tried to intsall them either through SCCM and mannually.

I've tried to use
dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth - completed without any errors
dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup - finished with error 2, unable to find file specified.
sfc /scannow

Without any success. The error still persists.

I've attached CBS folder and components scanner result. Hope for any help.

Hi,

Indeed the same error, but for another component this time. Run the following command in an elevated command prompt and attach "fslist2.txt" to your next post.
Code:
fsutil hardlink list %systemroot%\WinSxS\amd64_ntprint.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.14393.5582_none_b09a15b515604e7d\Amd64\STDDTYPE.GDL >> "%userprofile%\desktop\fslist2.txt"

Hello, the command returns "file not found", so the fslist2.txt file is also empty.

Here is the listing of that directory:
C:\Windows\system32>dir C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_ntprint.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.14393.5582_none_b09a15b515604e7d\Amd64 Том в устройстве C не имеет метки. Hi,

Follow these instructions to remove an update.
  • Open the Start menu of Windows and type the command CMD
  • When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  • When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.
Code:
wusa /uninstall /KB:5014702
  • Let me know if it says it was successful or you get the message: The update KB5014702 is not installed on this computer.

Unfortunately, the output is the same - nothing found.
But there are some records about the other update (I think it is the update from which the problem started), I've attached searchreg.txt

Hi,

Follow the instructions below to remove
577bf0efb8088-FRST.png
FRST and all the log files.
  • Rename the file FRST64.exe to uninstall.exe and run it as Administrator.
  • This will remove all files and folders created by FRST and the tool itself.
  • To complete this the system must be restart.
After the reboot run this command again in an elevated command prompt and attach fslist.txt
Code:
fsutil hardlink list %systemroot%\WinSxS\amd64_ntprint.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.14393.5192_none_b0c655af153ef810\Amd64\STDDTYPE.GDL > "%userprofile%\desktop\fslist.txt"
