Good afternoon! I've seen this error fixed here in this wonderland (this thread is just one of the many) and got fingers & toes crossed for my case as well.
Upgrading Windows 7 Home SP1 to 10, getting error 0x8007001F 0x20006 in the SAFE_OS phase during REPLICATE_OC.
Things I tried:
1. Windows Update Troubleshooter. It always returns Update error 0x80070490 as "not fixed".
2. DISM tool. It completes scanhealth but not restorehealth (error 87, "not recognized in this context").
3. The whole "net stop wuauserv" fix from here.
4. Downloading Windows6.1-KB947821-v34-x64 (System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7) -- but it fails to run.
Just in case, attached is my SearchReg file from the thread mentioned above (used Farbar Recovery Scan Tool to search registry for KB2656373;KB2952664).
Coder friend says my only choice is a clean install from scratch (lose all files and programs, etc). Love the coder friend, but please prove him wrong?...
