Dropbox hack leaks 68 million usernames and passwords - CNET

I find it unfathomable new information about the extent of the 2012 hack is just coming out now. And worse, IMO, is the "Dropbox head of trust", Patrick Heim reports,
"We can confirm that the scope of the password reset we completed last week did protect all impacted users,"
Last week??? It took over 4 years to reset all the affected passwords??? I don't understand that at all. The ONLY excuse I can [maybe] accept for taking that long is those last straggling users never logged in to their Dropbox accounts after the 2012 attack until last week. I hope that is the case.

In any event, this just reinforces my justification for my lack of confidence in cloud security.
