Hi, new to this forum so hopefully I'm doing this right.
I've recently been having some trouble with my Lenovo Y70-50 laptop running Windows 10 Home build 14393, x64. At seemingly random intervals, my computer will freeze up for a few seconds and then my Wifi will start acting up - it will say that the current network has no internet connection, and when I go to the Wifi menu only that network is available. I have an Intel AC 7620 Wifi adapter, and when I go into device manager the adapter is greyed out as if it were disabled, and clicking enable does nothing. I only get a BSOD when I restart my computer, where it will BSOD. I am unsure whether it is crashing before the computer can completely shut down or if it is crashing as soon as the system attempts to reboot. In any case, I am able to successfully restart my computer after the BSOD screen, where everything is working normally. If I do not restart my computer, it appears as if it has normal functionality, just without a working Wifi adapter. The BSOD gives me a Driver Power State Failure error. I've already disallowed the computer from shutting down the adapter to save power. This issue has only been occurring for the last week and a half or so, and I don't remember anything that occurred in that time frame that would have significantly changed my system.
My laptop is around 1.5-2 years old, and the OS is the same one originally installed on the laptop (I also do not own a retail copy of Windows 10, so hopefully I won't have to do a complete reinstall). I also have not replaced any of the hardware components, so they are all the same parts that came with the laptop originally. I'm running on an Intel Core i7-4720HQ @ 2.60GHz, quad core. I have an integrated Intel 4600 graphics card and an nVidia GTX 960M. I have the latest nVidia drivers and I manually installed the latest Intel driver for my integrated card and uninstalled the manufacturer driver, but the problem persists.
I believe I have around 5 minidump files in the zip archive. The 3 from May 16 were Driver Verifier crash dumps, although I was unable to fully debug their contents. The 3 should be more or less identical since I was having trouble successfully rebooting normally, since Verifier would crash my system on startup. They appeared to point towards the CyberDrive driver as a problem so I've since uninstalled that program, although I am unable to confirm if there were any other offending drivers, as I needed to use my computer and couldn't dedicate more time to testing further drivers and the computer appeared to be functioning normally enough. The two dated May 18 are BSODs after normal use, and were the first after uninstalling CyberDrive on the 16th. I am unable to discern any real pattern to when the failure occurs - it seems to be at random, sometimes lasting an entire day without an issue and sometimes after 30 minutes after a fresh restart. I would appreciate any suggestions as to what I should do, as my attempts as a novice to analyse the dumps via Windbg have been largely unsuccessful.
