Hi!

Been having these issues for a while now, Latencymon test completely idle... I'm clueless, tried different nvidia driver versions, nothing seems to help!

Rig : i5 4670k, Gigabyte Z87-HD3, GTX 760 Asus, One HDD, no SSDs, 550w Gold+ Silent Cooler master

OS : Win7 Home premium (64bits)

Some help would be greatly appreciated in any shape of form,

thank you!

Remove Intel Rapid Storage technology.

  1. To remove IRST you need to remove it on the Programs and Features
  2. Then go to Device Manager
  3. Expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
  4. Then click uninstall on each one.
  5. Once removed reboot and it should've been removed

I've installed it only through Device Manager, I'm gonna uninstall it right now and see what's up.

Needless to say it is MUCH better even though the latency spikes from Nvidia still remain, but are less virulent.

Unless you've got a bad card, there isn't much you can do but try different Nvidia driver versions, even beta ones.

You need to remove it through the programs and features as well.

It certainly shouldn't return. Are you using a RAID array?

The BIOS mod shouldn't effect anything.
