Hi there guys, I'm new - It seems like you've dealt with a lot of DPC Issues so I figured this was the place to ask.

I've attached my DXDIAG info. My Motherboard is the ASROCK 970 Extreme R3 2.0.
I'm running an AMD 8350 + R9 280x.
I've recently purchased a new sound card (ESI X-FI Prodigy) and noticed that i had a lot of crackling. I turned off the onboard sound in BIOS and that removed it for the most part but when gaming and after some time (IF I have lightpack running - An ambilight that runs off the cpu) the sound can become crackling and popping again and becomes very tinnish.
I only had this issue when getting the new soundcard. The soundcard actually does the processing through the cpu also. I'm not sure if this is causing it. I've used Latencymon and DCP Latency Checker. DCP Latency checker shows that the idle DCP is around 1060 which seems quite high. and spikes at times too. I noticed that having AMD overdrive open makes it go high although it doesnt provoke the audio issues. I dont ever use Overdrive but in a strange circumstance learnt of how it affects the CPU.
Anyways, I'm not really sure where to go from here. I'd like to get some advice on what to do - I did try updating bios but that is really it. You guys know way more than me so is there any chance you could walk me through the procedure?
thanks!!
