Like many other users here on the forums, I am having issues with DPC latency, with latencymon pointing the blame at ndis.sys.

What I've tried:
  • Installing updated drivers (Little to no effect)
  • Restarting, shutting down entirely, etc. (No effect)
  • Disabling the "get updates from many places" option (SEEMS to have had a small effect, but issue still crops up much more commonly than I'd like.)

This hardware has run without an issue for ~5 years with a few upgrades (GPU, CPU, NIC) since. The issue only started the day before yesterday.

  • OS: Win 10 Home 64 bit (Ver 1607 build 14393.447)
  • CPU: AMD FX-4350
  • RAM: 8GB DDR3
  • MB: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3
  • GPU: NVidia GeForce GTX 760
  • NIC: Realtek RTL8192CE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC

Edit:I collected two important bits but forgot to share:
msinfo32
DxDiag

I seem to have fixed this by completely uninstalling the device via Device Manager, then reinstalling it using the same utility I originally used to update the driver. Maybe it was a busted driver?

I'll leave LatencyMon running, but I'm not having any of the issues I was previously having.

EDIT: Within 5 minutes of me posting this the issues started back up again. They're less frequent now, but still very existent.

Hi!

I am having this problem with high latency as well and cracking sound/videos.
I am unable to find a solution to the problem and I wonder if you had any luck in finally getting rid of the problem?

Rgds
