Hi Tomas! I've just read the whole topic and was very impressed with your knowledge. Maybe you will be able to solve my similar problem?

I also notice audio drops and clicks in my enviroment. I use program called Resolume Arena. It is a video app for playing live video clips with effects etc.
I also run Ableton Live which is a DAW. I have no problems with audio drops there. My videocard is on FireWire, and audio buffer is set to 64.
My machine is i7-950 3.6Ghz, 12GB Ram, Nvidia GTX560Ti.

Can I send you the ETL file from command prompt? I have no idea what is causing the dropouts... thanks!

Re: DPC latency issue (crackling audio) dxgkrnl.sys - Windows 7 x86 SP1

Hi Albertas,

It might be a good idea for you to create a new topic and attach ETL trace there, using the command below:

Code:
xperf -on PROC_THREAD+LOADER+PROFILE+INTERRUPT+DPC+DRIVERS+POWER+IDLE_STATES -stackwalk Profile -BufferSize 1024 -MinBuffers 256 -MaxBuffers 256 -MaxFile 256 -FileMode Circular

Anyhow, I cannot promise you anything, because the cases where external audio/video cards are used are quite complex.

By the way, where are you from? Your name sounds like a Lithuanian one :)

Thanks, I am nerby - Poland :)

I will make new topic but first I need to get rid of this error after xperf command:

xperf:error: NT Kernel Logger: incorrect flags. <0x3ec>

Are you sure you installed the Windows SDK for Windows 8.1?
