Hi Rahin :)

My name is Aura and I'll be assisting you with your issue. Follow the instructions below please.

System File Checker (SFC)
Follow the instructions below to run a SFC scan on your system and to provide the CBS log in your next reply;
  • On Windows Vista & 7, click on the Windows Start Menu, then enter cmd in the search box, right-click on the cmd icon and select
    Spcusrh.png
    Run as Administrator
  • On Windows 8, drag your cursor in the bottom-left corner, and right-click on the metro menu preview, then select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • On Windows 8.1, right click on the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner and select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • Enter the command below and press on Enter;
    Code:
    sfc /scannow
    Note: There's a space between "sfc" and "/scannow";
  • Once the scan is complete, enter the command below and press on Enter
    Code:
    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  • A file called cbs.txt will have appeared on your Desktop. Upload the file on Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive and post the download URL for it here;
Note: Please note that the CBS.log is volatile, which means that if you don't upload it after the SFC scan is completed, it won't have the information from the scan anymore. So archive it and upload it as soon as you can.

Thank you for the log. Since there's a lot of files reported as corrupt in it, let's see if we can get a summary using SFCFix.

    Spcusrh.png
    Run as Administrator;
  • Follow the instructions displayed in the console;
  • On completion, a log will open in Notepad. Copy and paste the content of that log in your next reply;
    Note: The log (SFCFix.txt) will be created in the same directory where SFCFix is run if it doesn't open automatically on completion.

excuse me but i ran the SFCFIX.exe and its doing the same thing its stuck at 40 % should i wait longer cause its been like 30 minutes its really late at night.and what did u mean by follow the instructions in the console whats the console pls reply fast thank you

You might have to let it run overnight and wait. It's normal for DISM to stays at a certain % for a long time depending of the system it's ran on.

ok so i tried to do the sfcfix again this morning cause i had to close it at night but it wont start the thing where it goes to 20 then 40.it just stays there after it says image version im tired off all this errors of my laptop. the main thing why i am doing dism cause i want to factory reset my laptop whenever i try to factory reset my laptop it says "insert media some files are missing your windows installation media will provide these files" this is the error i had during my factory reset. so on some forums i saw the dism could fix this insert media error and after that i did dism and am having problems with dism too. can u just help me fix my insert media some files are missing error do i have to make a new thread for that if so tell me.

Which method are you using to Factory Reset your laptop? The built-in "Reset" option in Windows 8.1? Or are you using your manufacturer's Factory Reset method (Recovery partition, Recovery disc)?

Did your laptop/computer come with a set of Recovery discs or not?

Sorry for the delay Rahin. I'll need you to run DISM and let it go through, no matter how long it takes. It can stay stuck on a certain % for a few hours (usually 2-3). After which I would need the CBS.log and DISM.log if I want to create a fix.
