[SOLVED] DISM Source Files Cannot Be Found

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth which came out like this:
Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 6.2.9200.17031
Image Version: 6.2.9200.17031
[==========================100.0%==========================]
Error: 0x800f0906
The source files could not be downloaded.
Use the "source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature.

I'm running windows 8.1x64 (All Windows Updates Installed)

Hello oklajohn

Lets see what SFC detects:

SFC /SCANNOW
  1. Right click on the
    aa922834-ed43-40f1-8830-d5507badb56c_39.jpg
    button
  2. Click on Command prompt (Admin) => Press Yes on the prompt
  3. Inside the Command Prompt windows copy and paste the following command SFC /SCANNOW
  4. Please wait for this to Finish before continuing with rest of the steps.
Convert CBS.log to CBS.txt
  1. Right click on the
    aa922834-ed43-40f1-8830-d5507badb56c_39.jpg
    button
  2. Click on Run => Inside the run box copy and paste the following command:
    Code:
    cmd /c copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  3. Press Enter
  4. Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt, please rename this file to CBS_{Insert forum username here}_{insert todays Date here}.txt For example "CBS_Go The Power_1803.txt"
  5. Please upload CBS_{Username}_{Date}.txt to this thread.

I'm sorry for my lack of knowledge about OneDrive - I haven't used it and just ignored it in the past. Will try to get a hold on it so I know what I'm doing and quit being so inept when I reply in here. Thanks for your patience.
 
Please mark this thread as solved - I restored to a backup which I had made prior to installing April 14 Windows Updates and SFC and DISM are both working now. Evidently those "Optional" updates (20 of them) were causing problems on my pc. Thanks to all for your work and help.
