[SOLVED] DISM / sfc scan not working - cbscore.dll [HRESULT = 0x800703e6 - ERROR_NOACCESS]

Hi Maxstar,

I have seen that you solve this problem for other guys already. As an attachment you find my cbs.log. The SFCFix tool a have already installed. Can you serve me an solution for my issue - that would be nice.

You wrote that there is an individual fix in any separate case nessecary - can you explain the causes of that issues for me an why is that an individual not a general problem?

Step 1. Download

SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.


Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
