First thing I would try is to disconnect any peripheral devices from your machine (i.e. any USB devices or anything else that is not absolutely essential), do a Clean Boot and then try installing from a USB. Use the Media Creation Tool to create the install media on a USB drive if you haven't already and try that. Make certain you are in a Clean Boot state however.
