Hello,
I am repairing my father-in-law's PC right now and it seems as if a couple of Manifest-files somehow got overwritten with NUL-values.
Since I had another PC at hand, I was able to restore 15/17 files, but the last two files weren't located on the second PC...
...unnecessary to say that neither SFC.exe, nor DISM.exe nor Windows Update could find/replace/repair those files... :-(
...maybe someone can help me out with this?
The two files are:
WinSxS\Manifests\amd64_47ed966b2c72e0f7bd0883eb9b9ee528_b03f5f7f11d50a3a_4.0.15805.360_none_7a938b305e6f080f.manifest
WinSxS\Manifests\wow64_system.drawing_b03f5f7f11d50a3a_4.0.15805.360_none_0c32d0c3584eb15c.manifest
Kind regards,
Chris
P.S.: Just deleting those two manifest files (as they weren't on the 2nd PC) helped with the wow64-file, but dism.exe insists on the amd64 one to be present.
