Hello,

After installing Windows updates KB5015808 & KB5016058 succesfully, i found an error in the image. This is another image.

sfc /scannow -> Good!
Dism /RestoreHealth -> Error: 0x800f0906, The source files could not be downloaded. The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log.
dism.log and CBS.zip are attached.

Could you please help to fix this?

Thanks a lot

Hello,

No, this is a totally another server in another domain / network. Thanks in advance!

It seems the same files are missing, here is the first fix.

Step 1. Download
56f31e53c97da-SFCFix.PNG
SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

That's weird because i tried the same solution but it didn't work as SFCFix crashed. I'm trying it now again......

SFCFix ran for some minutes and did a lot of steps of step 5 like step 5a, 5b ... etc but it showed an error in the end and then crashed again.

Kindly find the SFCFix file attached. Thanks again.

Copy SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip to the systemdrive C:\, can you run the tool there?

Copied SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip to C:\SFCFix and ran the tool. It worked quickly and solved the problem.

DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth -> The restore operation completed successfully. The operation completed successfully.

Thank you so much!!!!
