R relztrah Contributor Joined Mar 25, 2019 Posts 164 May 12, 2023 #1 I want to format an old hard drive so I connected it to my laptop and used diskpart clean and then create partition primary for that drive. Diskpart shows it as Disk 1. But when I look in Windows File Explorer it doesn't appear. So apparently running clean and create partition primary made it undetectible in Windows.
