[SOLVED] Diskpart shows an external HDD but Windows doesn't

I want to format an old hard drive so I connected it to my laptop and used diskpart clean and then create partition primary for that drive.



Diskpart shows it as Disk 1.

But when I look in Windows File Explorer it doesn't appear.



So apparently running clean and create partition primary made it undetectible in Windows.

What does disk management show?

Right click the 456.76 RAW drive. Choose format, name it, choose ntfs as file format, click OK.
