Hello everyone on Sysnative,

I did a quick search to find topics regarding Webio.dll on Windows 7 and nothing turned up so, I apologize if this has been resolved before.

Events:

I bought Escape from Tarkov and downloaded their launcher. I installed the launcher which also installed VC C++ 2015 and 2017. This required me to do a restart. Upon restarting, my computer was struggling to boot up windows. After giving it 90 minutes, I did a hard shut down and started the computer in safe mode. I ran dskchk in the command console and restarted the computer for the scan. It found 36 unreadable files and did its thing. Now the computer runs great but the launcher for the game doesn't work. I'll double click it and it shows in processes but appears frozen as it never takes up more system resources nor does the GUI pop up or anything like that. So I decided to run sfc /scannow command several times. Each time it told me there was some corrupt files that it couldn't repair. Upon investigating that problem more, I stumbled upon SFCfix.exe. Apparently it uses DISM to try to fix the corrupted files. At the end it gives me a log that says that Webio.dll is corrupt but it can't fix it. Since I tried everything to get the Escape from Tarkov launcher running (reinstalling VC, updating and fixing .net framework, running in compatibility mode, installing it to both my HDD and SSD, and wiping out the registry and loose files between reinstall) I am left to wonder if Webio.dll is the reason why the program won't work.

Anyways, I know a bit about computers but this is above my pay-grade. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

System Specs:
Windows 7 x64
AMD FX-6200 Six Core 3.8ghz processor
