Dell Inspiron Keeps Restarting Randomly

Ha! :) One more thing - I've noticed that when Windows boots up now, the little Windows jingle sounds sounds fuzzy - like there's static, even though the speakers are fine. Not sure if that means anything...

I'm not sure if that relates. Let's see if replacing the battery helps. I really hope it's not something more serious with your motherboard that could be causing this.

My 1 year old Dell Inspiron

Is it more than a year or less? If less, it may still be under warranty.
