Brand and model of the laptop?

The Laptop manufacturers site will have the drivers you may have to install the Intel Video drivers(if it is a Dual Graphics model) first then the AMD/ATI drivers.

This OP happens to be my nephew - laptop is a Dell Inspiron 5520. I believe he's managed to get the issue sorted, but I'll find out more when I speak to him tomorrow.
