Good morning people

I have a problem that bothers me from the beginning of the year, and this week I booked to try to fix.
My scenario is an organ of Government shall with about 80 servers in 2012 r2 all virtualized with VMware and in production,
Use WSUS also running 2012 R2 that total only 6 servers and all Domains Controllers, can no longer update the OS.
Already tried all the options I looked on google, and Dism, SFC Reset wsus Components, subinacl, WindowsUpdateDiagnostic
Repairing the image with DVD and nothing ...
If disvinculo wsus the server, and try to download the direct updates from Windows Update, also it does not work ... if down the separate update manually and install with winrs.exe -r: Server 1 DISM.exe / online / add-package / PackagePath: C: \ UPDATE \ xxxxx.cab there works but some servers have about 380 Updates is just unfeasible.

Ja reinstalled the 0 my wsus, and continued the same way ... by last did a test on a server where I grabbed a created a VM, installed in 2012 r2, and updated 100% after put in wsus, the other week when he left Updates of Julies he can no longer download, and if you click on "View update history" these 6 Dcs servers do not show anything is blank.

Every time the squeegee tool WindowsUpdateDiagnostic appears the error 0x80070057 and "Service registration is missing or corrupt"
It fixes but when do the same thing appears

In them the WindowsUpdate always appears below the MSG
WARNING: Failed to get info from Cost Network NLM, assuming network is NOT metered, error = 0x80240037

I do not know more where to search and what to try, someone would have any tips?

Hi and welcome to Sysnative. Before I assist, since this is a business machine, can you assure me that your IT Department is OK with us working with you on this? I understand you may likely be from the IT Department but I have to ask.

Unfortunately I'm still having a hard time with the translation. I do understand that updates aren't working however. Let's take a deeper look.

Step#1 - FRST Scan

1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Right click to run as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
3. Please ensure you place a check mark in the Addition.txt check box at the bottom of the form before running (if not already).
4. Press Scan button.
5. It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should now be the desktop)
6. Please copy and paste log back here.
7. Another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST64.exe) will be generated Please also paste that along with the FRST.txt into your reply.

Thanks for the info. I need to collect some more data. Please do the following.

Step#1 - SFCFix Script
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.
  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download.
  2. Download the file below, SFCScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCScript.txt.
  5. Drag the file SFCScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Send me a PM with the contents of the SFCFix.txt file.
