W warrior135 New member Joined Oct 28, 2022 Posts 4 Oct 31, 2022 #1 Hello guys, I hope you can assist me with this A brief description of your problem (but you can also include the steps you tried): Power Outage while the PC was on, now it's showing a BSOD with CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED; I tried: SFC and DISM commands, tried it through the normal RE and through the install.wim/.esd source from a bootable Windows 10 ISO (same build), ran MemTest86, CrystalDiskInfo. Can't boot into a Safe Mode either. System Manufacturer?: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. Laptop or Desktop?: Desktop OS ?: Windows 10 x86 (32bit) or x64 (64bit)?: x64 (64bit) What was original installed OS on system?: Windows 10 Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)?: Full retail version Age of system (hardware)?: Almost 5 years Age of OS installation?: Almost 5 years Have you re-installed the OS?: No CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor, 3200 MHz, 6 Core(s), 12 logical processors RAM (brand, EXACT model, what slots are you using?): DDR4 SDRAM - Crucial Technology BLS8G4D240FSB.16FB; Slots 2 and 4 (DDR4 memory slot A2, DDR4 memory slot B2) Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G Motherboard: B350M PRO-VDH (MS-7A38)(AM4) Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 10; 500W Is driver verifier enabled or disabled?: I don't exactly know. Thank you for the fast reply, I've read the posting instructions, but I can't run the BSOD Collection Application inside the Windows RE Mode. The "publish snapshot" option of Speccy doesn't work either. However, I can provide you with the attachment of the Speccy File, dmp. File and CBS log if this works for you.

Do you have any available restore points which you can use? The problem is going to be very difficult to debug when you have very limited access. Does it immediately BSOD on each boot attempt now?

W warrior135 New member Joined Oct 28, 2022 Posts 4 Nov 2, 2022 #6 I ran MemTest86 for 4 passes two times in a row. It didn't return any errors. I had multiple restore points, only a few days old (before the BSOD happened) but I got an error code trying to use them, after rebooting, they were gone. Yes, it immediately BSOD on each boot attempt.

The user guide is available on the same page. You'll need to create a bootable USB in order to run the test.
